The Financial Data Analyst is responsible for synthesizing and identifying financial insights, trends, cost savings, and variances through compiling and analyzing large data sets across multiple platforms within the Accounting Department. Their responsibility also includes communicating those data-driven insights to management to support sound business decisions in Finance, Procurement, and other functional areas. The Financial Data Analyst is a pivotal role in helping maintain the integrity of the organization's financial data and statistics. It is a great opportunity for those who have an intellectual curiosity to determine root causes for variances and strive for continuous process improvements. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or Mathematics required.
  2. 3+ years of experience in analytics, finance, and business operations.
  3. Experience in public transportation or similar government structure preferred.
  4. CFA Certification preferred.
